Hoax spends most of his time envying his super-cool, biker cousin, Spike, when he's not being bullied at school or oppressed at home by his religious fanatic mother. Things take a radical turn when Hoax begins calling a toll-free phone number that provides daily "horrorscopes," and he becomes possessed by a demonic force that enters his mind and body via the telephone line. Soon he's taking violent revenge on all those who crossed him.
